I want to talk about a subject that hits close to home for many of us: the affordability and accessibility of childcare.
You may have already heard about Bill C-35 (An Act respecting early learning and childcare in Canada). It’s one of the ways our Liberal government is demonstrating their commitment to making life more affordable for our families.
But what does Bill C-35 really mean for you? In simple terms, it's about making sure every child in Canada has the best possible start in life. It’s about creating an affordable, inclusive, and high-quality early learning and childcare system that leaves no family behind, regardless of where they live. The Government of Canada is working with provinces, territories, and Indigenous communities to build a system that lasts for generations to come. As a father of three daughters, this bill means a lot to me.
Here is a summary of what we hope to accomplish through Bill C-35:
Our Liberal government understands that the success of our country lies in the success of our children. And I, as your representative, am dedicated to making this vision a reality. Together, we can and will make life more affordable for families, now and into the future. As always. I’d love to hear your thoughts. Please don’t hesitate to write to me and share your thoughts on how we can make life better for families living in Northeast Calgary, and across the country.
